NCSE-UNESCO is the oldest UNESCO club in Bulgaria, founded in 1970. Throughout its long history, it has established a solid reputation in both Bulgaria and abroad. NCSE-UNESCO is a representative of the Republic of Bulgaria and founder member of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (WFUCA), as well as the European Federation of UNESCO Clubs (EFUCA), Centres and Associations. NCSE-UNESCO is also a co-organizer of the International Centre for Programmes and Projects in the field of Education, Science and Culture.
Our Objectives
The objectives of NCSE-UNESCO are to preserve and promote Bulgaria’s natural and cultural-historical heritage, as well as the initiation and involvement in events and projects, focused on problems in the field of science, culture and education. An aspect of the organization’s activity is focused on the personal and professional development of adolescents, high school and university students and young scientists in Bulgaria.
Our Initiatives
The activities of NCSE-UNESCO include organizing, administering and conducting of scientific expeditions to locations of utmost cultural-historical and natural significance in Bulgaria; delivering of seminars, presentations, trainings and workshops predominantly for university students and young scientists.
The organization facilitates and steers social projects, aimed at helping children deprived of parental care to become involved in the cultural life.
Our Achievements
With the active work of its management team and members, as well as through the support of other organizations, NCSE-UNESCO has succeeded in creating a working organism, upholding the preservation and popularization of the cultural-historical heritage and assisting young people in their personal and professional development in the domains of art and science.
